Do you give up or keep on trying???

The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities.  These are for the most part summed up in two terms:

COMMON SENSE & PERSEVERANCE

Common sense reminds us that we have been created in the image of GOD!

It is the highest act of common sense to listen to our Creator.  He fully understands us.  He can supply wisdom that we need for all the circumstances of life.

Perseverance is that quality that says, “I must keep going.”  I realize that I fail…however; I must also recognize that the failure does not become fatal until I quit trying.

It is not so much that we fail when we try as it is that WE FAIL TO KEEP ON TRYING.

GOD HAS A RELIABLE COMPASS FOR US:

NORTH:  Vision, the recognition of where I want to go.

EAST:  Knowledge, the recognition of what is required to get there.

SOUTH:  Responsibility, the work that must be completed along the way.

WEST:  Perseverance, the power to get up one more time than I fall down.

You and I have the assurance of the Lord Jesus Christ

that this compass will not mislead us. 

He will go with us each step of the way.
