New words have been invented to
describe our activities. “Gridlock,”
for example, designates a condition
that
stops the flow of traffic.
“Timelock” indicates that there
are
so many demands upon our time that
schedules are out of hand and that
our
productivity suffers.
To
Defeat “Timelock”:
1.
Examine priorities carefully.
This prevents our lives having
more speed
than direction.
2.
Avoid crowding ever hour with a
“task.” Jesus “went about doing
good.” His schedule was demanding.
However, HE MADE TIME TO
PRAY. He called His disciples away
from the
multitudes to rest.
3.
Avoid becoming addicted to rushing.
Determine the difference between
“necessary
haste” and becoming an
impatience addict.
